FOTD – Spirits (15 in 15)

“I been looking at the stars tonight and I think oh, how I miss that bright sun.”

Day 7 is based on the song Spirits by The Strumbellas. I discovered this song  through spotify and then re-discovered it while watching the Heritage Classic back in October. It has been in rotation on my regular playlist on Spotify and came on while I was driving to work this morning and that line of the song stood out to me, so I knew I had to do something with it.

This look was fun to do! Here are some notes about the look since it was very technically intensive.

On the star side I used Sugarpill Magpie patted over a cream lilac shade from Maybelline. I then worked the teal, blue, and purple from my Viseart Bright Editorials into it. Then with an itty bitty brush I used my depotted NYX Milk and did the white, which I set with the white from the palette. I went over it with pretty much every colour from my ABH Moonchild palette.

On the sun side I used a peach Wet n Wild Mega Glo stick and then went over it with a mixture of the yellow and orange from the Bright Editorials. I then just worked those and the red around. Topped it with Becca Opal and KVD Thunderstruck (which I foiled in a few spots).
